The
mission of the Fort Wainwright Community Spouses’ Club (CSC) is to
conduct civic and welfare projects for the benefit of our community. The CSC supports our local Army families through its charitable Scholarship Program.
Each spring, the CSC awards scholarships on the basis of academic
achievement, citizenship, and personal merit to spouses and family
members of active duty, retired, or deceased Army service members. Award recipients must be accepted to an accredited institution for the upcoming school year (2012-2013). Scholarship Applicants are selected through a blind review process in the following four categories:
Adult Continuing Education
Full-Time College Student
Graduating High School Senior
High School Student Jointly Enrolled in College Courses
Monies raised
through CSC events such as the Holly Days Bazaar determine both the
number and amount of scholarships; typically awards range up to $1,000.
